Kingfisher Schools Trust is seeking a professional cleaning contractor to provide high-quality services across six primary and secondary schools located in Suffolk and Norfolk. This contract covers a diverse educational estate of approximately 20,000sqm, including both currently contracted and in-house sites, within a live school environment. The project aims to achieve consistent cleanliness standards, improved supervision, and an upgrade in machinery and sustainable chemical use. The estimated contract value is £600,000 per annum (£3,000,000 total over five years including extensions), with an initial three-year duration starting in August 2026.

Scope of Works
  • Comprehensive school cleaning services for six trust sites, ranging from small primary schools to large secondary academies.
  • Mobilisation and management of a “mixed economy” estate, transitioning services from both existing external contractors and in-house teams.
  • Provision of high-quality local and off-site supervision, including staff training, auditing, and recruitment.
  • Modernisation of cleaning operations through the upgrade of machinery, technology, and a review of chemical safety and environmental impact.
  • Proactive management of reactive and planned works with disciplined reporting and meeting cycles.
  • Coordination of flexible staffing to support absence across the estate and ensure consistent service delivery during term time and holiday periods.
